The left pocket of the Polo has the heraldic seal designed by the Rector featuring the red Cross of Saint George, Patron of England, with a Longleaf Pine commemorative of Southern Pines and the Sandhills. The heraldic crest is made of four quadrants, the top left is Holy Scripture with the Herald of the Gospel atop, the top right is the chalice with the host labeled IHS, a monogram for the Lord Jesus Christ with the waters of baptism underneath, on the bottom left is the text of the Creed of the ancient Councils of Nicaea and Constantinople, the bottom right is symbol of the Bishop, the mitre with interlocked croziers underneath representing the authority of the Church as guided by God's Word and carried out through the ancient holy Orders.
